Description
Founded in late 2017, ETKO Brewing was made of humble love for simple, yet enjoyable beer that makes you want to have another one. By “humble” we mean “brewing beer in a bathroom in somebody’s flat” -humble – the typical story of how Finnish craft beer scene came to be by trial and error, flamed by the enthusiasm of being at the frontier of something new. Any pour could be the beginning of an adventure!

ETKO shares its facilities with Factory Brewing. Etko Brewing is more of an "All-round" brewery, which means making all kinds of beer.

Sample, thanks oh6gdx! Clear golden, mid sized head. Grassy nose with sweet apples. Mid sweet with light body and clean, crisp mouthfeel. Spicy grass on grainy bread. Mid bitter finish

A bit cloudy golden colour, small steady white head. Grassy aroma with some fruits. Light-bodied. Dry flavour with some citrus and dry fruityness. 4.5% IPA it is. Easy.

Canned 021225. Golden colour, perhaps slightly cloudy, small white head. Light-bodied. Flavour is also very citrusy with piney. Nice bitterness in the aftertaste. Simple WCIPA, could have more ABV (like 7%).

(Keg at Etko Taproom, 20260307) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, coffee and milk chocolate. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, coffee, ash, earth and bitterness. Aftertaste had burnt malts and bitterness. A good burnt brew with dry finish.
