Description
Founded in late 2017, ETKO Brewing was made of humble love for simple, yet enjoyable beer that makes you want to have another one. By “humble” we mean “brewing beer in a bathroom in somebody’s flat” -humble – the typical story of how Finnish craft beer scene came to be by trial and error, flamed by the enthusiasm of being at the frontier of something new. Any pour could be the beginning of an adventure!
ETKO shares its facilities with Factory Brewing. Etko Brewing is more of an "All-round" brewery, which means making all kinds of beer.

Tap at Panema. Opaque colour, tiny brownish head. Toasted, ashy aroma. Medium-bodied. Dry, toasted, ashy and a bit medicinal flavour. A bit too dry straightforward and even kind of homebrewish porter.

200ml draught at Olutravintola Pikkulintu, kindly shared by mjs. Next to clear amber body, beige head leaving crocheted lacing on the glass. Modest floral perfumed nose. Restrained taste profile of ripe citrus and malty sweetness beneath. On the sweet side of bittersweet to the finish. Satisfying. (Helsinki 30.11.2017).

Citrus taste, impact of grapefruit, together with grass and grain. Moderate, mid-dry, bitter finish. Rounded mouth feel. Easy to drink and quite moreish. (Helsinki 29.11.2017).
