Pours clear deep golden with a small off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel and floral. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Clear dark amber – seems like they were shooting for a Schlenkerla Marzen here – nose is fairly rich munich malt, moderate woodsmoke/campfire, some toastiness – pretty good start – flavor is moderate but rich sweetness, followed by light balancing acidity and bitterness, as well as a little toasty malt character – smoke is apparent but subdued throughout, which just makes me wish there were more – as it warms, there is some apparent DMS in the background, but there is not a lot of it – okay.

Tap @ Grimm. Pours a clear yellow appearance with a white head. Ginger, very floral, lemon, quite spicy aroma. Tangy potpourri, lavender, coriander, grainy straw, cracker flavor. Kind of strange but clean enough.

Tap @ Black Bottle. Pours a bit hazy reddish orange appearance with a nice lasting cream colored head. Very floral, caramel, toasted malty, lightly fruity aroma. Caramel/toasted malty, light toffee, light citrus, a bit chewy yeasty flavor. I was a bit surprised but this was pretty tasty.
