Bottle @ Odense Summer Tasting, 2011. Pours amber with a off white head. Sweet nose of butter, fruit and caramel. Flavor is fruit, caramel and a bit of diacetyl. Medium to thin body.

Hazy amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet and grainy. Flavor is medium sweet. Sweet finish. No real bitterness. I have yet to like a beer from Samsø Bryghus. 200711

Leicht säuerlicher Malzantrunk wobei die säuerliche Komponente stärker wird. Das Malz wird etwas cremiger, bleibt aber aufgrund der Säuerlichkeit im Hintergrund. Im Mittelteil würziger, die Säuerlichkeit lässt nun nach und ist im Abgang kaum noch erkennbar. Das Malz ist hier etwas kräftiger, minimal würziger, im Abgang etwas röstig. 11/8/8/9/10/8

Mild trocken-herber Antrunk mit geringfügiger Hopfennote. Etwas malzig, hintergründig noch leichter säuerlich. Im Mittelteil gibt es keine Veränderungen, das Bier scheint sogar etwas milder zu werden. Im Abgang wird das Bier hopfiger und gleichzeitig sehr würzig, die Malzigkeit wird deutlich stärker und weist karamellige Elemente auf. Süßlich hopfiger Nachgeschmackwobei der Hopfen hier eine unerwartet große Rolle spielt 9/9/10/11/11/10

Bottle 500ml.Clear medium yellow orange color with a initial average, frothy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, straw, dusty, moderate hoppy, perfume, flowers. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, artificial flowers, sweet malt, a bit messy. Body is medium, texture is oily and sticky, carbonation is very lively in mouth but looks is flat. [20110315]
