Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is clear brown. Aroma and taste are rich with roast malt, nuts, chocolate and caramel. Much much better than your average Samsø produce.

best bf dec 2008, tasted cold from the fridge. strange fruity flavor, well, not that strange given they added stuff to the beer, not a faulty brwe, just not very interesting either. The mouthfeel is real bad, it sort of grows in your mouth, like it expanded or something. looks kinda boring too. dark yellow/sandy color with a muddy look to it. no head after 20 secs. this one is definetly not one you’d like to store in a hot place or keep in the cellar. shows signs of getting weird already.

aroma : sawdust, sour notes. app: muddy yellow-brown, white head. As with other samsø, flavor is ...err.. interesting.. sawdust, nuts, sweet notes. as it warms up it gets nastier, sour notes develops, as well as some taste i can best describe as vomit-bitterness.. Beer gets some points for being drinkable - i have seen much worse lately (rørvig bryghus Yuck!) - but i’ve got to tell my local beerpusher to not sell samsø, so much else out there worth drinking.
