Bottle @ home. Opaque dark brown to black color with a slight but deep dark red glare coming through when held into the light, virtually no head. Aroma is malts, a bit nutty, caramel. Taste malts, brown malts, nutty again, with a soft touch of sweetish brown candy sugar and a soft malt bitterness. Decent to medium body and quite soft to average carbonation. Nice, total surprise. No idea what a lot of others tasted who rated this below a 2.0 but my bottle was pretty nice.

Very dark brown with thin head. Aroma and flavour have some dried fruits, especially raisins. Furthermore quite sweet and malty with a little treacle.

Bottle @ home. A bit hazy dark orange color, huge fizzy off-white head that diminishes quickly. Sweet sugary and sweet artificial banana. Taste wheat, sugary, yeasty, very sweet. Average to decent body, soft smooth mouthfeel. Nice and easy drinking but style wise I think it's overly sweet and it also doesn't look like a German Hefe weizen. 6-3-7-3-13.

Ergens in julianadorp opgepikt na een dagje strand. Op de fles staat 7.0%. Schenkt donker bruin tot zwart met volle fijne kaki kraag. Aroma van laurier, donker fruit(rozijn, pruim), bruine suiker, kandy, caramel. Smaken zijn redelijk zoet, caramel, iets droog, cacao, laurier, zeak bitter, vrij veel mondvullende co2, donker fruit( rozijn/pruim), kandy, suikerzoet iets rookmout, vrij veel zoethout, matige body.

Ergens opgepikt in Julianadorp na een dagje strand, schenkt wazig oranje/geel met volle fijne witte kraag. Aroma van Belgische gist, mout, tarwe, veel citrus, banaan. Smaken zijn redelijk vol van co2, veel citrus, mout, tarwe, gist, banaan, medium zoet, zacht/glad, licht kruidig, medium body, zacht bitter, lange citrus-gist achtige afdronk. Prima op een warme dag.enkel iets overdone qua citrus.

On tap at NHBF’16. Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of spices, clove, banana, wheat, hint of citrus, coriander. Flavour is medium sweet, light citrus, banana, wheat, spices, clove, a bit soapy. Light bodied. Decent.

Sampled from tap at NHB 2016. Cloudy, pale amber with a white head. Sweetish, yeasty-spicy aroma of banana, cloves, a bit of vanilla and honey. Sweetish, yeasty-spicy taste of banana, cloves, some vanilla and some honey, followed by a short, slightly bitter, yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, average carbonation. Nice!

On tap at NHBF’14. According to one of the brewers it’s 6.5%. Murky brown colour, beige head. Aroma of sewer, some sourness, rotten leaves. Flavour is light sweet, some caramel, toast, mostly infected sourness, some sewedge. Not very nice. Good to see new breweries in places like Den Helder, but there’s a lot of work to be done here..

On tap at NHBF’14. Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of sulphur, lemony acidity, grain, some hops. Flavour is very sweet, brinta, wort, some lemon, light-bitter finish. Light-bodied. Completely off balance, needs a lot of work.

Sampled at the Noord-Hollands Bierfestival. Pours murky brown with a tan head. Aroma of compost bucket and garbage. Flavour is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. To put it nicely, a mess.
