(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a hazy, reddish amber with a small, off-white head. Sweetish, malty aroma. Rather full-bodied with extremely sweet caramel malt - almost candy like. Some alcohol showing in the finish. 060706

An orange beer with a slight haze underneath a bubbly light orange head. The aroma is fresh and grassy combined with notes of lemon - my first guess was British hops, but the bottle claims Cascade - then not enough has been used. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of caramel, and this typically "We’ve just started microbrewing" note, that is hard to describe - but it is very rustic. It also has a hint of metal, before a slightly bitter end sets in, which in turn resides for a fruity aftertaste. Use more hops - please - otherwise it is not an APA.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a slightly hazy amber with a bubbly, dissipating off-white head. Sweet, perfumy nose. Rather solid body with a very high degree of malt sweetness - distinct caramel in here. Some somewhat soapy aroma hops never really manages to create balance and only leave a discreet bitterness. 190606

[Bottled] (BBE 06/2006). Hazy orange/nut brown color, small off-white head. Sweet fruity hoppy and yeasty aroma. Fruity, light hops, below average malt profile. Fades quickly. Maybe more like APA than amber ale.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a slightly hazy amber golden with a lightly creamy, off-white head. A lightly citrusy nose from the Cascades. Medium-bodied with some caramel sweetness and a light bitterness in the finish. A decent but far from great APA. 100506

A hazy amber beer with a beige head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of citrus and caramel - it lacks a hop presence. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of caramel, some malt, and light notes of fruit, leading to a slightly bitter end. This is not an IPA - rather a Pale Ale.
