Bag-in-a-box at the Reading Beer Festival. It's become a bit of a tradition for me to have a cider or perry as my final drink at the Reading beer fest - sort of as a pudding. This one's hazy yellow. It tastes of pear and tannic pear skin from the off; there's no doubt this is a perry! There's some nice rough rustic earthiness around the edges. It's dry-ish, in fact a little drier and rougher than I like my end-of-fest "pudding" perries to be, but it's decent nevertheless.
