Bag in box at Robin Hood fest Nottingham 2015. Hazy pale yellow color. Aroma of fresh fruit. Taste is lightly tart and dusty pear skins, subtle apple, subtle lemon. Decent.

Unclear light to medium yellow color with a small, virtually none appearance head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy pear. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, tart, earthy, pears, pear skin. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20151008]

BIB at Worcester Beer Festival, Friday 7th August. The second of the two rather confusing Barkers ciders, as mention in my rating of the other Barkers BBC there was a great deal of discussion between the bar manager, cider producer and a couple of us ’ere punters over whether these were labelled wrongly. Anyway I rated this before the producer decided that he thought this was actually the medium, as mentioned already I disagreed and thought it was actually correct. It poured unclear mid gold, hazy, tart, it was good however the discussion rather overtook the rating. A6 A3 T7 P4 Ov13 3.3

Cask, gravity at Worcester Beer Festival, Friday 7th August. Lemony in colour with some bubbles around the edges, a little straw and a touch of pear drop, not the finest of Perries but really drinkable and rather dangerous. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

BIB/Polycask at Worcester Beer Festival, Friday 7th August. This is 6% now and I have just been involved a a good old debate with the producer, other drinkers and cider bar manager as to whether this is the BBC sweet it’s labelled BBC sweet) or BBC medium, the producer and also a drinker state that this is the medium yet I and the bar manager (totally independently) are arguing that this is actually the medium, I am going as far as to suggest medium-dry. Polycask @ GBBF 2014, Great British Beer Festival, London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Barkers Best Cyder / BBC (5) ].ABV: 6.55. Unclear medium orange - yellow color with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy apple, barnyard - manure. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light acidic with a average to long duration, apple, tart apple, manure, dry. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat. [20140815]
