Sample at the 29th Annual Oregon Brewers Festival on 07/30/2016. Hazy orange color with a medium thin white head that dissipates steadily to a film. Stringy lacing. Apricot, malt and slight hops in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of apricot, grassy hops and biscuit malt. The finish is fruity with an apricot aftertaste. Decent overall.

On tap at some diner in Washington County. Pours a clear orange color with a medium white head. A big sweet fruity citrus nose. The flavor is more clean fresh hops, pine, citrus, hell resinous sweet hops. Very good. Excellent.

On tap at the Holiday Ale Festival. Pours a deep brown color with a large brown head. The aroma is sweet toasted malts, cocoa and vanilla. More in the flavor with oak, vanilla, sweet toffee, a bit of heat, cocoa, bitter chocolate. Mellow and nice.

On tap at the brewery. I liked this slightly more than the IIPA, it’s clean and tasty. Pours a clear copper color, a medium white head. A nice citrus hop nose with some sweet Amarillo. The flavor is a nice balance of toasted and caramel malts and sweet citrus, light to medium bitterness, fairly dry. Well attenuated. Quite drinkable and solid.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a bright clear copper color, light redness, a medium white head. Big sweet crystal malts and fresh hops, oranges. The flavor is also dominated by sweet hop essence, some medium bitterness, marmalade. The overall flavor is a sticky sweet hop bomb, very well made and tasty.

It’s hard to say what this is: what a big brown ale. Anyway, pours a murky brown color with a medium white head. A big sweet nose with coffee and light chocolate. The flavor is sweet, caramel and especially toffee, some light roasted coffee, the hop component is certainly there with light bitter edges. Quite good.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear dark copper color with a medium white head. A light crisp floral hop nose with biscuit. The flavor is similar: mellow medium sweet malts, very dry, some pine. Light caramel, more toast. Pretty solid brew.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear reddish amber hue with a small white head. A light fruity dusty nose. The flavor is sweet with caramel, light crisp hops, big bitterness in the finish considering the overall beer. Quite nice. The main distraction was some buttery diacetal creeping in.

Draught. Another almost IPA with a citrus, it seemed naartjie aroma. Restrained but not too much so. Medium bodied with a refreshing tart note.
