Kick 170316. Amber colour with an off-white head. Aroma and flavour is pumkin pie, spices, orange, coffee, caramel, cinnamon, hop. A weird but also very interesting beer.

Can from Mitsuya. Simple malt-forward nose without many hops. Slightly infected on the palate, but not overly so. The infection kind of melds with the beer and brings out a bright tangy overripe citrus flavor. Sweet and tangy but feels a tad heavy. Infected but still not terrible. --- Beer merged from original tick of Evo IPA on 08 Jun 2016 at 20:40 - Score: 5. Original review text: Lightly infected can. But somewhat decent with the infection.

On tap at the Lodge. Pours a near clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of pine with some grapefruit, a hint of onion and a sweet grain backbone. Flavor has more onion with bitter pine and a sweet grain backbone.

Can on pouring buse after Rail Ale, thanks to James, 20/05/16. Hazel golden orange with a big old egg shell white head. Nose is earthy hop, light pine, bitter orange, grassy. Taste comprises melon, light pine bite, orange pith, straw, tangerines, light bread dough. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Drinkable but lower end of the style spectrum ... lacks hops & trops !

Very hazy orange beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and finely crisp. Mild minerals. Thin pale malts, a modicum of sweetness. Great hops - juicy fresh orange with yellow grapefruit underneath. Touches of lemon and tangerine. Some peel bitterness on the backend. Finishes semi dry with grapefruit peel lingering on. Great fruity IPA.

Draft pour pint at the brewery, pulling this beer out of a 3 year RB hiatus. Muddy chocolate brown pour with an active fizz head. Simple nutty aroma. Flavor is a lighter than your usual brown malt, and a bit watery. Somewhat nutty, but more or less empty finish. Pretty refreshing I suppose, and nothing offensive to speak of. I imagine it’s difficult to make a brown ale stand out from the rest.

Tap at Bud. Orange-brown with a low, fine head. Nose of pumpkin pie: cinnamon, nutmeg, caramel, rather typical. Nice pumpkin pie spice flavor, bitter finish, pumpkin and Munich malt richness. Not overly sweet. Decent.
