Description
You can’t have a brew house without fantastic beer, and we are very lucky to have our Brewer, Max, heading up the Brewery right here in the pub.

He brews two signature beers – Emperor and Gladiator – as well as a great range of other cask and keg beers which are all available here.

Cask (Bath Brew House, Bath) - Black in colour. Ginger, cloves and nutmeg in the aroma. Spicy, malty and slightly roasted taste with ginger, cloves, cocoa and a hint of orange.

Cask at the Bath Brew House, on James Street, Bath. Served in a dimpled mug, a clear amber colour with a slightly off-white head. Aroma of biscuit malts, caramel, and hops. Low to average carbonation, medium sweetness, light bitterness to finish. Very enjoyable session beer.

Cask-conditioned at the Bath Brewhouse, 16/9/2014. Deep amber, with a slight, beige, head. Crisp, cereal, malts, a touch of fruit leading to a decent, bitter, finish. Fine.

Cask-conditioned at The Cork, Bath 16/9/2014. Deep gold in colour, with a frothy, white, head. Sweetish, biscuity, malts, a touch of marmalade, leading to a big, lingering, bitter finish. Good.

Cask (Bath Brew House, Bath) - Dark brown in colour. Mince pies, dried fruit and caramel in the aroma. Fruity and sweet taste with Christmas pudding and caramel detected.

Cask (Bath Brew House, Bath) - 3.8% on the pump clip. Copper in colour. Biscuity malt and caramel in the aroma. The taste is biscuity with malt, nuts and toffee detected.

Cask-conditioned at the Bath Brew House, 3/1/2014. Amber with a slight, off-white head. Aroma of hedgerow fruits, with some biscuity malts and a touch of leafy hop. Flavour had solid malts, more fruit and a decent, bitter finish. A good session beer.
