Keg at NK, Stockholm. Black, small beige head. Tarry licorice aroma with some grapefruit. Bone dry with medium body and clean, hard mouthfeel. Faint flavour of grapefruit and licorice. Sharp resiny finish. The hard malt profile kills all prospects for this beer I’m afraid.

(Keg at Viisi Penniä, 20150109) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had liquorice, chocolate and burnt malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were liquorice, dark chocolate, burnt malts, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste had burnt malts, chocolate and bitterness. A well done full-flavoured stout.

Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, citricness, grapefruit, caramel, molasses, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A tasty hoppy malty ale.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival, 2 Oct 2014) Golden amber colour, slightly hazy, with huge off-white head. Fruity, spicy nose with hay, grass and dried fruit. Fruity, spicy taste with notes of citrus, canned peaches, grass, sea buckthorn and a good earthy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Spicy and tasty, with gentle flavours from the berries. Quite nice.
