Test vom 11.10.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 12,9,8,8,9,8 - 8,60

Aromatisch hopfiger Antrunk, bereits hier deutlich bitter. Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Hazy amber golden with floating impurities and a dense, creamy, off-white head leaving laces. Tart, Brettish nose. Medium body, completely dominated by very dry and astringent Brett accents. Clearly infected - but in a great way. 141208

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Clear, dark brown with a creamy, beige head leaving some laces. Roasty, malted accents with a hint of acidity. Light body, some roasted malt and then a very distinct lactic acidity. Very infected. 141208

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a lazing light tan head. The aroma is sweet and acidic in the good way - brettanomyces. The falvor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, leading to a very tart finish - in the good brettanomyces way - definately not intended, but still fine. The body is thin.

Bottled. A dark brown beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma is weird - both sweet and sour with notes of caramel and bread. The flavor is acidic with notes of bread, caramel, and dusty hops.

The bottle looks simple, but good. Not made for wide distibution. Deep-black in the glass. Tastes strong-malty, not too malty. Little sweet note. Intense finish, modest oily. Smoky-spicy notes in the end. Good beer!
