500ml bottle. Phantastic, opalescent, chestnut colour with ruby shimmer and small, frothy to creamy, diminishing, minimally lacing, off-white head. Mild and mellow, woody, smoky, caramel malty and minimally fruity, hoppy aroma, hints of wood ashes, caramel, red berries, a touch of dark honey, plum, barbecue sauce. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel and smoky malty, slightly fruity and minimally earthy leafy, mildly bitter hoppy, hints of caramel, a touch of dark honey, wood ashes, plum. Oily texture, smooth, soft and silky, minimally cloying and greasy palate, very fine, soft, mildly prickly carbonation. Well crafted, excellent mouthfeel, mild, balanced, lacks some more intensity - very nice.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Black, rich firm head. Aroma of coffee and spicy licorice. Dry with light body and crisp, rounded mouthfeel. Chocolate and grass. Long bitter finish. Excellent hoppy schwarzbier.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, thanks tiong, at VastActiv, 20230518) The beer poured black. Its head was small and lightly brown. Aroma had chocolate, coconut and spiciness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, coconut, burnt malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. An excessively sweet stuff with coconut notes.
