25/7/2026. Draft at Mildenhall Speedway Stadium. Beggars can’t choosers beer wise here but at least it’s a tick. It’s a ok pale quite generic GK offering.

Visited 23/7/2026. Didn’t attract my attention when in Antalya in March but back here in July noticed a few craft check ins so thought give it a look. It’s an old building, very rustic, minimalist interior but plenty of outside seating. Taps are mainstream, but on the back wall there’s a few fridges, with a few shelves of Turkish craft. 20 or so different, most I had seen and bought before but found a couple of new ones from Kubau Brewery. Service was friendly. Good vibe. Definitely worth an early look if bar hopping for craft in the Old Town.

24/7/2026. Bottle from Papyon Tobacco Alkol Shop, Antalya, Türkiye. The previous 3 that I had from this brewery were not good. Is this now 4/4? Well at least it didn’t open like it was relieved it could now try to get away from itself, unlike the pilsen, and it actually poured pretty well. Good omen maybe? Nope. Whilst not as bad as the blonde and pilsen it was similarly musty and sour, citric and overripe stone fruits, with stable straw and some chalkiness too. Not quite as unpleasant as those two overall but still pretty poor. Hard to believe these were as the brewer intended, bought from the same place though these last 2 four months later.

23/7/2026. Bottle from Papyon Tobacco Alkol Shop, Antalya, Türkiye. Lively on opening. Pours okay. Grainy, straw, musty citrus aroma. Nasty sour lemon taste. Another one from this brewery that I didn’t like.
