Bottle picked up from Vienna, consumed at home Thursday 13th August 2026. We had homemade burgers with homemade chips, listening to New Music Fix with Deb Grant flying solo and then Riley & Coe with Gideon Coe also flying solo all on 6Music. We sat in the living room upstairs the light isn't great so it is tricky to be exact on the colour however it looks very dark amber/mid brown, unclear and with an off white head. The aroma is predominantly malty aroma with caramel and dried fruit notes. These also show up in the mouth with some dates and figs, it's on the sweet side, doesn't taste too boozy considering the abv is 11.5%. It's fine. Score: 6.8

Can picked up from Beyond Beer webshop Hamburg and consumed at home Thursday 13th August 2026. We're about to cook homemade burgers with homemade chips, just listened to Huw Stephens on 6Music with Round Table, it was good. Loz said this pours like clay in a glass 🤣, it's a murky, dirty yellow actually maybe like a cheap lemon curd with a huge white head. Soft mouthfeel, the hop combination works quite well, however it's a bit on the sweet side. There is a tropical edge and whilst I get the lime and Brazilian lemonade description it isn't like a ramped up for radler, it's growing on me and it's decent but not totally blown away. Score:7.0

Can picked up from Beyond Beer webshop Hamburg and consumed at home Wednesday 12th August 2026, the day of the eclipse, though not quite a total eclipse here in Germany. We had a sort of Kedgeree for tea tonight, not quite a true Kedgeree but near enough. This beer was a little ordinary a touch on the sweet side and playing safe with the bitterness. Sweet orange, a little resinous and with additional citrus throughout, it's absolutely fine but it's just to safe and not pushing any boundaries for me, in fact everything could be dialed up a bit more. Score: 7.0

Bottle picked up from a local Getrankemarkt and consumed at home sat at the top of the garden Tuesday 11th August 2026. Pours chestnut brown with an off white head. Typical aroma ticks the Weißbier boxes as banana and clove come through, there's a little bit of coca cola, lovely mouthfeel, like it. Score: 7.4

Can picked up from Beyond Beer webshop Hamburg and consumed at home sat at the bottom of the garden, Sunday 9th August 2026 after a nice chat with Mum and Keith and then Scott and Mand'. It's been a very hot day we've had a great weekend in Plattling then Straubing Gäubodenvolksfest then Innernzell Volksfest so really full on W/E. Anyway much like my last beer this pours hazy yellow but more murky this time with a large frothy white head. The aroma is a little dank grassy, there are tropical notes and it's also a little resinous, I have to say for a style I often pass on this is v.good, juicy, nice mouthfeel, little hoppy burps, very good NEIPA. Score: 7.8

Bottle picked up from Beyond Beer webshop Hamburg and consumed at home sat at the top of the garden on the swinging seat, Sunday 9th August 2026 chatting to Scott and Mand'. It's been a very hot day we've had a great weekend in Plattling then Straubing Gäubodenvolksfest then Innernzell Volksfest so really full on W/E. Anyway onto the beer, it pours hazy yellow with a large frothy white head. The aroma is not too dismissilar to the regular Triple Hop, so a touch floral, little spicy, but with a citrus (grapefruit) and light tropical edge. The grapefruit is really aggressive in the mouth and really super punchy but there's a little passion fruit as well, this is hugely refreshing and has a dangerously drinkabilty for the abv, love it. Score: 8.0

Bottle picked up from Craftbeershop Parchim and consumed at home sat outside on the patio Thursday 30th July 2026. Pours a slight hazy yellow with a large white head. There's a pleasant aroma of light citrus, lemony, a touch of spice and a subtle touch of hops. Great mouthfeel, nice carbonation here, in the mouth, light tingling bitterness, yeastiness, a gentle fruitiness. This is a very good Tripel, cannot believe that this has passed me by for all these years. Score:7.8

Bottle picked up from Globus hypermarket Ceské Budêjovice and consumed at home Saturday 1st August 2026 about to make a load of different burgers. Pours clear gold, mid/large white head, reasonably bitter and with a dry finish, a little citrus in the mouth. Not bad. Score: 6.8

Bottle that I picked up from Craftbeershop Parchim, we consumed this in our apartment in Erlangen after a lovely afternoon/evening at Annafest Forcheim Friday 31st July in the company of Jonas and Ursula. Pours black with almost no head whatsoever. I didn't have the foggiest what the barrel ageing was but Ursula informed us that its bourbon barrel aged.. it's okay but truth told not completely doing it for me,, not so smooth, a little tangy which I do like but otherwise meh.... Score: 6.8
