Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Dark and roasty aroma with dark chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, hint of liquorice. Just the fundamentals. Moderate bittersweet flavour, full body. Nice to get a non-adjunct Stout from Moer for a change.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Malty and spicy with caramel, pine tree, spices. Medium sweet with a somewhat unbalanced bitterness. Light alcohol, but at 7.5% this doesn't bring that Barley Wine swagger.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Juicy with some Sabro coconut, tropical fruits, orange, mango, soft pale malt. Moderate bitter and slightly sweet. Medium body. Sabro always +1.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Bit nutty with cocoa, vanilla, dark malt, pistachio, marzipan. Sweet flavour, bit sugary, light bitter. Above medium body. Nutty, bit artificial, okay.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Strong, boozy, lots of rum, some Belgian yeast, alcohol, more rum throughout, some iodine. Sweet and boozy flavour, nice rum but unbalanced, not well-integraded.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Bit ripe fruit aroma, stone fruit, light pine and marmalade, malt. Moderate to medium bitter with a light sweetness. Medium body. Okay but a bit ripe.
