Can. Color: Murky brown, beige head. Aroma: Dried fruit, almond. Taste: Almond, dried fruit (fig, raisin, some plum), some caramel, malty, oak wood and Whisky notes, hoppy backbone. Moderate to over moderate sweet, moderate bitterness. Long lasting dry-ish and bittery finish. Medium body, below average carbonation. Some more carbonation than the other two versions, fortunately. Ok.

Bottle. Color: Black, very thin brown head. Aroma: Roasted malt, Bourbon, some spicy rye notes. Taste: Roasted malt, Bourbon, vanilla, some spicy rye, hints of dark coffee. Full body, below average carbonation. Medium sweet, over moderate bitterness. Subtle boozy. Very nice.

Bottle 266/295, directly from brewery. Color: Clear copper, very thin beige head. Aroma: Caramel, malty, notes of raisins, fruity hints. Taste: Well balanced mix of caramel, raisins, subtle refreshing apple / Calvados and oak wood. Hoppy backbone. Medium body, below average carbonation. Moderate sweet, light to moderate bitterness. Nice complexity, well done barrel ageing.

Bottle 104 / 728. Color: Clear golden, very thin white head. Aroma: Some tartness, subtle funky and wood, fruity grape. Taste: Fruity citrus and grape, moderate to over moderate tart, subtle rural funk, light hints of sweetish Port. Some oak wood and minerals. Dry-ish mouthfeel. Nice.

Can. Color: Murky brown, very thin beige head. Aroma: Dark malt, sweetish, almond. Taste: Dark malt, almond, Whisky notes. Hints of peat. Moderate sweet and bitter, some more bitterness at the dry, long lasting finish. Quite a lot of almond.
