Bottle. Color: Slightly hazy golden, dense white head. Aroma: Light tartness, fruity lemon, grainy and funky notes. Indeed like a mix in between Pilsener and Geuze. Taste: Fruity lemon, gooseberry. Light to moderate tartness. Funky hints. Oak wood. Some grain and hay. Medium body, below average carbonation. Light bitterness, going towards moderate at the nice dry finish. Nice refreshing summer beer. Geuze with an unusual twist.

Bottle. Color: Clear copper, thin beige head. Aroma: Fruity Cognac and caramel malt notes. Taste: Caramel malt, subtle floral and citrus notes, light to moderate bitter hoppy backbone, well balanced with fruity Cognac, vanilla and wood notes. Boozy hints. Moderate to over moderate sweet. Just over medium, lightly creamy, body. Below average carbonation. I'm not a fan of Emelisse beers over the last years, but this one is pretty nice.

Bottle. Color: Lightly hazy deep golden to orange amber, stable dense white head. Aroma: Fruity grape and gooseberry, oak wood, subtle funk. Taste: Moderate to over moderate tartness, grape, vinuous notes, some oxidation, oak wood, some rural funk. Bit minerally. Interesting complexity, although at first it just didn't match my expectations but getting more complex when standing somewhat longer. Note to myself: High ageing potentials?

Taste: Nice mix of fruity grape (Vermouth), hints of citrus fruit, floral, herbal notes, wormwood, spicy hints, yeasty notes, malty base and hoppy backbone. Smooth mouthfeel. Very well balanced. Moderste sweet and a light to moderate bitterness at the finish. Very nice one.
