(Trondheim Bryggerifestival 2025) Tåket, ravfarget. Det er sparsomt med skum, og det holder ikke så lenge. Aroma av tørket frukt og ølet har endel fruktighet. Temmelig høy sødme. Bitterhet i smaken, men det virker som det er mye mindre i ettersmaken. høy karbonering. Litt stikkende munnfølelse, der jeg tror et CO2-bitt utgjør mesteparten. Skal være brygget etter "egyptisk stil", men det føltes forbausende konvensjonelt.

Nice inside and outside restaurant, located in the old brewery of the now closed sternbräu. The location has more potential than what is used today, as they cater for tourists and tries to balance a posh food concept with a more old-time biergarden. Too noisy and over-filled with tables. Didnt have food but it looked ok. Could not 'get' the character and spirit of the place.

While Sternbräu has closed, a restaurant carrying its name is selling one beer that is carrying the old brewery name. I found no indication of which brewery that makes it, and people say Kaltenhausen, but all other draft beers here were Stiegl. Color is brownish golden with some oranges notes, unclear, and thick cream-colored foam. Aroma is heavy on malt notes, with caramel, but also some grain and even some citrus and grass. The taste is surprisingly full, focusing on maltish sweetness. Texture is smooth, with fairly low CO2 and a strange mouth-coating effect in the after taste that detract from it and is accompanied by a slight acid and pricing effect that is barely noticeable.
