Bottle thanks to Tavour. Oops, I didnt drink fresh(!) Pours inky black with minimal head or lacing. Aroma is rich fudgy bourbon vanilla, prominent oak tannins. Flavor is fully sweet, light plus bitter. A bit hot but otherwise solid.

Hallowed Hearth from Sante Adairius Rustic Ales

Tap. Pours unclear mahogany, minimal head or lacing. Aroma is boozy, bourbon, oak, vanilla, toffee. Flavor is less boozy than Aroma, nice blend of dark sugars, oak tannin, vanilla. Almost a jack Daniel's thing going, which is strangely a positive when it comes to barrel aging. Medium body.

Tap. Pours deep mahogany, small beige head, good lacing. Aroma is roasty, molasses, hint of anise, charred wood, tobacco. Flavor is light plus sweet, light plus bitter. Medium body. Lingering bitterness.

Tap. Pours cloudy yellow, small white head, good lacing. Aroma is dank, armpits, lemon, guava. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter. Light plus body.

Tap. Pours clear orange, medium off white head, good lacing. Aroma is dusty, field grass, coriander, hint of malt. Flavor is light sweet, light plus bitter. Medium body. Quite enjoyable.

Tap. Pours clear golden, small white head, good lacing. Aroma is biscuit, cracker, grain bread, straw. Flavor is light sweet, medium bitter. Light body. Quite excellent.
