16 oz can purchased as a single at BKS Artisan Ales in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is clear golden, with a one inch foamy white head that is lasting. The aroma is grass, onion, a soft candy sweetness, grape, and a hint of resin. The taste is the resin, the onion, dry floral, and finishes with more of the New Zealand resin. The palate is medium bodied with active natural carbonation and the dry resin floral finish. Nice one.

16.9 oz can that was purchased as a single at Total Wine in Overland Park, Kansas. Canned Feb 05, 2025, BB May 06, 2026 - shame on me for not checking. The pour is clear pale golden with a well formed, and a fluffy two inch white head. Falls slowly with decent lace. The aroma is grain malt, herbal, floral hop. The taste is cereal grain, softly malt sweet, with the floral and herbal drying out the finish. The palate is medium to light bodied, soft carbonation, and the dry finish - a bit dirty in the after taste. Definitely will retry this fresh, given the opportunity.

Half liter draft at Grunauer in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is a darker golden with a pure white foamy head. The aroma is softly sweet cereal grain malt, herbal hop and faint earthiness. The taste is sweet malt, a hint of apple fruit, herbal grass, and closes with a nice mineral earth. The palate is light to medium bodied with soft natural carbonation and the dry mineral finish. Great beer for the Grunauer patio.

Half liter draft mug at Jesus in Mishawaka, Indiana. The pour is a chill haze golden yellow with a small white head. The aroma is light blue berry, grain and a bit of hay. The taste is blue berry straw berry fruit sweetness, touch of tartness and then a basic clean lager base. The palate is light to medium bodied with soft natural carbonation and a slightly muddled finish.

16 oz can purchased at Alma Mader brewing in Kansas City, Missouri as part of the Alma Mader 7th Anniversary 6 pack. The pour is a crystal clear golden yellow with a well formed foamy 2 inch white head. The head falls with pretty lace. The aroma is floral, an earthiness, and the faintest hint of lilac. The taste is super fresh, with nice bright hoppiness of the floral, noble hop, mineral, then moves towards a crisp cereal earthy malt backbone. The lilac floral of the nose is gently present in the taste as well. The palate is light to medium bodied, active natural carbonation and the mineral grassy floral finish. Really interesting Pilsener, can’t say I have ever encountered this flavor profile before.
