Located on Santa Fe a few blocks away from the old Lenexa main street. Roadside bar and grill, parking up top or in the large lot in back. Interior is darker, with large booths and tables. Nice outdoor patio area. Beer selection is 9 house beers that are contract brewed by a variety of local breweries. It appears that many are recipes from the defunct Safari Brewery in Chanute, Kansas. The food at Strip’s has always been great, and the addition of quality beers is a huge plus. Great service.

16 oz can generously given to me by my friend Thomas. The pour is a crystal clear golden with some light copper. Big two inch very lasting foamy off white head. The aroma is caramel malt, honey sweet, lager yeast and clean herbal hop. The taste is full malt flavor, the caramel, honey, grass, herbal, and nice mineral. Great flavor integration. The palate is light to medium bodied with soft natural carbonation, the malt, mineral and nice herbal finish. Nice one, thank you Thomas.

Shaker pint draft at Strip's Chicken & Brewing in Lenexa, Kansas. The pour is a clear golden with a minimal head. There are a bunch of fine carbonation bubbles rising to the surface. The aroma is cereal grain and lime citrus. The taste is the cereal grain, clean golden ale flavor, lime citrus and the slightest hint of earth mineral. The palate is light bodied with active carbonation and the mineral lime citrus finish. Easy drinking, nice take on a Mexican Lager.

12 oz can to glass at the Omni Hotel, Amelia Island, Florida. The pour is a hazed yellow golden with a foamy white head. The aroma is tangerine peel, tangerine fruit and cracker malt. The taste is a bit of cracker malt, followed by the bitter citrus. The palate is light bodied with soft carbonation and a dry bitter citrus finish. Decent, though a bit one note.
