RateBeer member 2009-2025, the latest years as admin. The BIG thing for me now is Brewver! I only rate venues, a (silly?) decision from back in 2009. But, don't worry, I drink a lot of beer too. 9K Norwegian beers in February 2026 and a total of 21K in February 2026. Cheers!

A new ØX Tap Room just outside the city center on the sunny side.(Solsiden) Several bars and restaurants in this popular area of Trondheim, and now finally a decent craft beer place! Large patio in front and rather roomy inside too. Interior is somewhat like the original place at the main square. We were five thirsty beer geeks that had warmed up at Habitat and were ready for more. I enjoyed beers from ØX, Monkey Brew and Molo. An enjoyable stay. (Visited August 5th 2026 with yngwie, Rune, Finn and NilsAS)

I have visited Inderøy Mosteri twice before, but that was before they started producing apple cider. Very nice location and very friendly and informative service provided by Yngve Henriksen. I was happy to see that a new Ice Cider was available in the farm shop. I also recommend their apple juice. On the way up hill to the cidery, you will see Sakshaug medieval stone church from 1184. I found out by chance that this family-run guesthouse actually serve their own beer. Sometimes Untappd can be useful! No regular opening times but I guess they're always open in the tourist season that is summertime and in the salmon fishing season in the nearby river Namsen. Two draught beers in the combined bar and reception in this historic guesthouse. Patio outside to enjoy a cold beer. Superfriendly and talkative service. The Pils was fresh and very nice, Pale Ale was to buttery for me. A black cat was my companion this sunny day at the patio. This is a place not to be missed, very close to the main road E6 too.
