Corner entrance, several rooms with varied seating and a large outside patio in the backyard. We sat outside enjoying a pint, the view to a parking lot is hardly worth mentioning. Since it is a Fullers bar, dont expect finding something new very often. Pretty standard cask ale beers. I liked the atmosphere and the interior in this pub. (Visited November 15th 2025 with Knut)

When I had a brief visit here in November, I thought this store was hardly worth an entry here at Brewver. But since BeardedAvenger later added this place, why not? This is a fine wine shop and delicatessen with some beer too. A couple from the local Alfred`s, Flower Pots, Triple fff and Bowman - all ale, bitter or blonde. Decent if you are looking for local «low alcohol» beer. (Visited November 15th 2025)

After visiting the Cathedral we were ready for lunch. A table for seven was booked in advance. My choice; slow cooked lamb casserole with winter root vegetables and two beers from Alfred`s. Nice restaurant with several rooms, we sat in the inner part, some steps up past the bar. Efficient service. A nice place for lunch and beers from Alfred`s. We met here for breakfast. This is mostly a cafe with a fridge with cans from Deya and Electric Bear. Actually a decent selection from these two breweries. I started this morning with Electric Bear Unruly AF, alcohol free… Not really a beer place you have to visit but not easy to find beers from the mentioned breweries elsewhere in this city. We ended up here since it was open after 23.00 this Friday evening. I only had a half pint from Hook Norton. Not a place I really want to revisit. I felt old among the crowd here. Large place with varied seating and full-coverage carpet (!) The bar advertises with «Craft and World beer» Well, some decent cask ale options but the «craft» beer in the fridges is what I call crappy lagers! I ended up with a glass of whisky as my night cap. A historic pub and live music at our visit this Friday evening. Set over two floors, boring beers on tap but four decent cask ales from Fullers. Lively and popular but not really my thing. Fullers 180th Anniverasry Pale Ale was not a good beer, a shame for a anniversary beer. (Visited November 14th 2025 with colleagues)
