Bottle for Christmas, thanks Fin and Loz! Amber golden, strong white head. Funky, bretty, yeast, pear, herbal. Soft, mellow, surprisingly tame mouthfeel, with pear and pear rind coming later; some good edge, warm and strong booze. Still quite drinkable.

Bottle. Cloudy golden, floaters. Pear, shandy/radler, sweetness, dusty, muesli, lemon. Front heavy, sparkly, not too sweet, it is drinkable.

Bottle. Clear golden. Damp, straw, hay, apple, edgy, sweet. Buuuut: Chewy, juicy, malty, actually quite decent, though a tad too sweet and too thin.

Bottle, shared at the evening after a delicious meal. Dark. Soy sauce, milk, chalky, tobacco. Dark chocolate, some soy sauce, long, warm, quiet. A bit flat/thin. Nice, though.

Bottle, thanks Fin! Murky chestnut, bit amber. Citrus, mint, bitter, roasted caramel. Fizzy spritzy, caramel oily, a tad flat, but a bit boozy.

Can. Cloudy golden. Lychee, canned syrup, edgy. Sweet, front heavy, fruity, oily soapy. Not too bad.

Bottle. Chestnut, mostly clear. Malt, sweetness, syrup, warmth. Roasted, caramel, a hint of butter. This is a nice caramel butter beer.

Bottle, 2001 02 03. Dark, no head, oily. Dates, figs, licorice, tobacco, malt. Smooth, some warmth, licorice umami soy sauce. I am surprised, but it seems I like old stuff.

Tap at Wirtshaus Graser. Golden, a tad hazy. Summer, but a pretty neutral one, damp, edgy. Spritzy and front heavy, rather sweet. Needs more chewy more hhmpf but still drinkable.
