750ml bottle, best by end of October 2030.

It pours a clear gold with a fine head of foam that sticks around leaving some lacing.

The smell is caramel malt, toffee, vanilla, boozy, kind of fruity from the agave? Some woody notes.

The taste is caramel malt, toffee, vanilla, agave?, full on 12%abv. Very unusual tastes going on here and I am not a big fan. The smell was more impressive for me.

Only medium bodied, on the dry side in the finish, at $12 a bottle, not worthy of another purchase.

Bought from Bine and Vine, bottle #8811.

Pours a clear beautiful amber with a fine layer of foam. Some lacing, retention is quite good.

The smell is oaky, fruity with dark fruits and apples, caramel malt sweetness. Great aromas.

The taste is sweet up front from caramel, almost honey like, oak is there bringing a charred aspect, apples that bring a slight tartness, but that French oak seems to be the star of the show.

Aboot full bodied, adequate carbonation, it seems to have a dryness that I didn't recognize before.

I would drink this again.

From Beer Drop, code on bottom of the can makes no sense.

Pours a mostly clear pale gold with very good foam, retention and lacing.

Smell is orange zest, coriander, with cloves in the background.

Taste is orange zest, cloves, coriander, citrus, somewhat spicy from the grains of paradise.

Very good mouthfeel, I would drink this again.

From Good Times Oakland, canned October 23rd 2025.

It pours almost pitch black with a finger of tan foam, lacing and retention are very good.

The smell is roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee, some toffee, some vanilla.

The taste is roasted malt number 1, sweet and dark chocolate number 2, coffee number 3. Bitter over sweet by a margin. Vanilla seems to not be there to my palate.

Medium bodied(high end), good carbonation, I would drink this again.
