16oz can from Alesmith. Nose is chocolate, vanilla, bourbon, without much of the coffee notes I usually find in Alesmith’s imperial stouts. Black with a medium cinnamon tan head. Flavor is moderately sweet with a lot of flavor from the 32 months in Willett Bourbon Barrels. Nice traditional bourbon barrel stout with no pile of adjuncts.

16oz can from Alesmith. Nose is oak, vanilla caramels, toffee, biscuits, and a hint of bourbon. Very dark, obscure except on the edges, hazy brown with a medium tan head. Flavor is lightly sweet with a smoothness I find in really expensive wheated or rye whiskey.

16oz can from Alesmiths. Nose is coffee, cocoa, roast, and nuts. Black with a big cinnamon colored head. Flavor is light sweetness contrasting with a background bit of bittersweet chocolate along with the nuts.

16oz can from Alesmith. Nose is cocoa, chilies, vanilla, and a sweet cinnamon roll note. Black with a medium, short lasting, dark brown head. Flavor is moderately sweet with only a mild warmth from the chilies.

16oz can from Alesmith. Nose is coffee forward with some cocoa, vanilla, bourbon, coconut, and a biscuity note. Black and syrupy with a tiny cinnamon tan head. Flavor is lightly sweet but way less than most pastry type stouts.

16oz can from Alesmith. Nose is toffee, rum, vanilla, and a hint of clove. Lightly hazy rusty-brown with a large tan head. Flavor has only light sweetness with some light tobacco notes I assume from the wood.

16oz can from my daughter. Nose is chocolate, toasted marshmallows, with cinnamon and nutmeg. Black with a small tan head. Flavor is lightly sweet and spicy. Decent flavor because it’s not sickening sweet.

Bottle from last Christmas’s gifts from my daughter. Nose is a bit of chocolate and caramel. Very dark reddish brown nearly opaque except for the edges with a heavy lacing beige head. Flavor is lightly sweet but malty.
