Sample of both 2013 and 2011 bottles at (Hopp)Kurtkeller 016: Cantillon-tastic 01 on 10/11/2014. Slightly hazy pale yellow color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to a wispy film. Spotty lacing. Aroma of vine fruits, yeast and slight vinegar. Light-bodied with flavors of oaky white wine, herbal yeast and a touch of apple. The finish is oaky with a vinous fruity aftertaste. Enjoyable beer all around.

Sample from 2012 bottle at (Hopp)Kurtkeller 016: Cantillon-tastic 01 on 10/11/2014. Pours a hazy yellow-gold color with a thin white head that recedes steadily to a wispy film. Spotty lacing on the glass. The aroma is citrusy and woody with a bit of herbal wheat in the background. Medium-bodied with a vinous character and notes of green apples, oak and funky yeast. The finish is tart with the cognac coming through subtly behind the funky tart fruits. Very good brew all around.
