Sample at Kurtkeller 009: Matilda-tastic 01 on 03/28/2014. Clear orange-amber pour with a medium white head that recedes steadily to a film. Short strings of lace. Aroma of fruity yeast, clove and malt. Medium body with flavors of herbal yeast, spices, fruit, malt and earthy hops. The finish is funky yeast with a fruity aftertaste. Solid beer overall.

Aroma of yeast, fruit and malt. Medium body with flavors of herbal yeast, spiced fruit, malt and hops. The finish is slightly phenolic with an herbal yeast and funky fruit aftertaste. Solid beer overall.

Slightly hazy golden color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Aroma of herbal hops, citrus and malt. Medium body with a dank and citrusy hop character, with notes of pine and malt in the background. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

Cloudy orange pour with a medium frothy bone white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Partial rings of lacing. Aroma of floral hops, tropical and citrus fruit, and malt. Medium body with flavors of floral hop, grapefruit, melon and biscuit malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a lingering fruity hop aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

This beer is a slightly murky copper-orange color with a medium frothy off-white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Sticky strings of lace. Aroma of piney hops, fruit and malt. Medium body with flavors of resiny hop, stone fruit, banana and bready malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a piney hop aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Sample at The Draft Room. This beer pours a cloudy reddish-orange color with a thin off-white head that burns away quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of strawberries and stone fruits. Light-bodied with a sweet-tart berry and stone fruit character, with notes of wheat, cherry and doughy malt. The finish is sweet-tart berry and cherry. Above average overall.
