Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6.5 | Flavor - 5.5 | Texture - 7 | Overall - 6
Pale gold with a frothy, white head. Peach, citrus and wort aroma. Taste has a faint, white bread sweetness up front, then finishes very mildly bitter. Decent chewiness, easygoing and refreshing. Definitely about average for N.A. style.

Gold with a light haze and a sudsy, white head. Not much in the way of a typical Weizen aroma — this is all dank and full of wort with a touch of peach. Taste is sweet with dough-like undertones. Body stays fairly light but it’s not watery. It is fairly refreshing, which is about the only thing going for it. Drinkable.

Virtually black with a fleeting, foamy head. Fudge and pumpkin pie aroma. Taste is sweet and artificial with the feel of flavored soda. Finishes slightly bitterer with a dose of lingering pumpkin. Body is fizzy, thinnish, and not particularly inviting given the style. Failed experiment.

Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7
Hazy, yellow gold with a frothy, white head. Orange pith aroma with mango undertones. Taste is bitter and quite citric. Finishes the much the same, but there’s a sweet, chewy body underneath that adds a measure of depth. Pleasant.

Gold with a frothy, white head and minimal haze. Aroma promises orange pulp and fruit candy. Taste is bittersweet with a mildly citric twist. Finishes increasingly citric and bitter with a faint touch of resin. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, refreshing apart from a touch of undisguised alcohol at the end. Drinkable. A sort of west coast/east coast hybrid.

At the Weißbräuhaus in Ingolstadt. Gold and cloudy with a foaming head. Aroma full of clove over dough and banana bread. Moderate bitterness. Medium bodied, moderate to prickly carbonation. Lingering clove. Good one.
