Gold with a frothy, white head. Aroma full of dough and plastic. Taste has a dough-like, white bread sweetness. Finishes watery instead of bitter with the sweetness falling away and leaving a big dose of nothingness. Body to the light side of medium, watery texture, refreshing in its odd way. Tolerable.

Gold with a frothy, white head. Aroma of orange jam with subtle pine overtones. Taste is bittersweet sweet throughout. Resin and mango at the finish. Medium bodied, thin wateriness, juicy. Good one.

Pale gold and hazy with a foaming, white head. Aroma of gooseberries and peaches. Taste is moderate bitter with a dose of resin at the end. Body is lightish, moderate watery texture, not as much chewiness as I’d prefer for a 6%er. Not bad, but this brewery does better.

Pale gold with a frothy, white head. Grassy, spicy, aroma with a touch of lemon. Taste is bitter with a mild citric twist. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Nice. Was a bit distracted drinking this, need to give it another go.

A Gurken Gose is the worst beer I’ve rated in 10+ years, so I’m having some trepidation about starting this one. To be fair to the beer, sour pickles in general are not my thing.
Gold with foamy, white head. Aroma promises pickles, coconut and lime, exactly as advertised, with the pickle aspects mercifully subdued. Taste is sour with the coconut sweetness leading the way. The sour pickle and lime take over the finish. One sip. Two. Pour some more. The pickle is just subdued enough for me to get by with this one, even if I would would prefer less (no) pickle. Love the balance though. Refreshing too. It’s actually a pretty decent beer. Good job, Orca.

Gold with a frothy, white head. Grainy aroma with touches of dough. Taste is mildly bitter throughout. Body to the light side of medium, moderately watery texture, somewhat listless and unfulfilling feel driven by a weak body and low hops profile. Drinkable.

Gold with a frothy, white head. Aroma in the direction of green apples. Taste is very mildly bitter with dough-like undertones, followed up quickly by a watery but unwelcome sourness in the direction of apple vinegar. Finishes a touch grassy and with more apples, perhaps closer to apple cider than vinegar. I don't believe its begun to go off, despite the vinegary hints. It's just ... odd and a lot mellower than a typical German Pils. Drinkable.

Hazy pale yellow with a frothy, white head and a few white floaters. Pineapple and papaya aroma. Pleasantly bitter, citric taste with a mild coconut & papaya sweetness underneath. Long, bitter finish with a moderate boozy warmth. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, juicy and easygoing despite that touch of booze at the end. Probably could have drunk this a little colder and enjoyed it more. Good.
