On tap. Pours black with short tan head. Aromas of chicory, dark chocolate, cake spice and roasted malts. Flavors follow same with a bit more emphasis on cake spice plus chocolate icing. Very good.

Huge place with lots of outdoor space and indoor picnic table. 20 taps and 7 coolers of beer for take away. Large and varied bottle/can selection and well curated tap list. Cheese/Meat plates and bar nibbles. Well worth the travel from central London though ambience and service could be better.

330 ml can. Pours a very dark brown with full tan head. Aromas of overly spiced Christmas pudding with lots of dark fruit and bready malts. Flavors of Christmas spice, sweet toffee, raisins and toasted malts. Watery and acrid with a bit of sweetness. These type of beers need a much bigger base.

Tiny store with three stools and tiny tasting bar. Small but well curated selection. Worth a stop when in the St Pancreas area.

440 ml can. Pours a hazy dark brown with moderate tan head. Aromas of powdery chocolate, dry roasted malts and dark creamy berries. Flavors of roasted malts, creamy coffee and earthy plums. The plums are pretty subtle but really make the beer. Very good.

Large but busy pub across from Paddington station. Mostly Greene King beers, as expected. No real reason to drop in except to get a bite to eat while waiting for a train.
