Brown, very dark, slightly translucent. Medium head, off-white in color.
First thing I got on opening the bottle was something like sauerkraut - odd. After pouring, some bready and lightly roasted aromas came through, but the overall aroma is weak and uninspired. Kind of phoned-in across the board. Some fruity esters in there too.
Quite sweet, barely any bitterness - only shows up in the finish, and even then it's pretty mild.
Mouthfeel is a bit rough and foamy, medium carbonation, medium body.

Not great overall, and to top it off the ingredients list includes hop oil, sugar (added separately, not from malt), and barley malt EXTRACT. Like, you already have four normal barley malts in there! Hard pass...

Crystal clear, slightly pale gold with a medium white head.
On the nose, heavily herbal with some citrus peeking through - lemon mostly, though it doesn't really assert itself. There's also a background note of buttery popcorn, which isn't exactly what you want here. The bitterness is high for a macro but low for an IPA, which lets the malt push to the front more than it should. Body and carbonation are both middle-of-the-road.

Tall head, somewhere between white and beige. The beer itself is a deep burgundy-red, very slightly hazy.
Aroma leads with dark chocolate and coffee, plus a barely-there cellar or slightly funky note underneath. Some light breadiness and roast in the background.
Flavor leans sweeter and more malt-forward, with a bitterness somewhere around weak black coffee territory.
Low carbonation, very little body — feels a bit hollow. Not a lot going on. Then again, I wasn't expecting much from this brewery to begin with.

The bitterness is distinctly herbal - Saaz doing its thing - but the palate feels a bit hollow. Aroma follows suit: that same herbal quality and not much else going on.
Comes across like a corporate eurolager with pilsner ambitions.
