Can from the club, drunk watching The Boroughs. Hazy orange amber with moderate head. Pineapple, Passionfruit, and unsurprisingly weedy nose, very pungent and powerful. Flavor is fruity citrus with a distinct herbal flavor that makes me think of Mediterranean seaside hikes in the summer. A wee bit like a spruce beer. Quite nice and distinctly hits its mark even if a bit herb-y for my taste.

Bottle from Jonas, thanks! Very dark amber, tall lasting head of large bubbles. Bready, toffee nose with hints of earthiness. Nicely sweet but not overly so, clean bitterness and roasted malt in the background. Chewy raisins, toffee-biscuit, fresh dark bread with molasses and honey... Warming but not too hot alcohol... This beer has it all. Classic.

Can from the Bierol Lab box. Light orange, super haze, small head but massive nose of overripe Asian fruit stand. Lightly piney, big fruit and hints of fresh hay at the end. Wow that's a ton of flavor for a slim bodied session! Moderate bitterness. Big props for this flavor in 4,5%.

Bottle 0.5L from Conad in Iseo, custom glass, drunk back at home in DE after a delicious fish skewer dinner with spicy guac and chips. Tiny touch of haze, fine foamed head that looks nice. Nose of citrus, flowery with mild tropical and caramel notes. The flavor: thin body, lightly dank hoppiness, moderately bitter but in line matching the session body. Really tasty, the only thing I could suggest is to thicken the body a bit somehow - but don't change the smooth, balanced flavor. Very nice!

Can from Conad Iseo, drunk after avoiding the Brenner protest closure by driving through the night before. Lightly hazy amber, citrusy nose, light caramel flavor that's not too thin for a session and adds a wee bit of flavor. Still a bit one dimensional lemon/cara flavor but decent West-Coast-ish reminiscent IPA.

Green bottle, blue label, purchased and drunk in Iseo reading Kane. Nice Pils nose, a wee bit lightstruck I assume on purpose. Slight grain flavor, super thin body, but good smooth earthy bitterness. Refreshing!

At a pizzeria restaurant in Iseo. Light straw, hazy, good head. Nose of light malt and hay. Very smooth hop bitterness with well balanced light maltiness, hint of acidity, very fresh and tasty. Also a great pour to the very top of the Teku with a finger of foam. Great!

Drunk at Lago d'Iseo after our arrival with a dessert tart. Dark brown with short-lived tan head. Nose is bready, moderate roasted malt, lightly sweet. The flavor is nicely complex, very mild hint of herbal aftertaste that might be the promised Lakritz (im happy it's so mild). This herbal taste and the bold bitterness with mild umami flavor balances it very well, this isn't an overly sweet Bock. Great one!

Bought at Rewe, drunk watching ep 1 of One Piece on Netflix. Didn't realize it's the house brand. Clear light gold, tall fine bubbles on top. Mild lightly spicy hop nose, crisp smooth flavor with a hint of vegetal note and decent malt backbone. Earthy hops. Pretty decent after all, even with the potential PPB (?) of DMS.

Drunk at Madame Chutney, the old Master's Home, near the propellor bar. Chestnut brown with a lasting tall head of fine bubbles. Malty nose, dark lightly sweet flavor, smooth but minimal hop bitterness. Tasty, straightforward dunkles.
