Irish pub, typical English pub look and feel. Friendly staff. Around 30 beers, mostly pretty common, but some good ones. Food is good. Fine place to stay for a good night out. (3-2022).

Proost & Stroop closed shop in 2021. The location has been taken over and is now called Pof & Stoof. I went by to find some beers from Friekens brewery. Could buy a set. Lovely explenation about the beers by a very helpfull lady. Could not try food. (1-2022).

Nice shop with interesting collection of beers (local and international and not only the standard beers) and whisky. Regularly new beers, interesting Gueuze collection (for a dutch shop). Enjoy visiting it when in Leeuwarden. (12-2021).

Visited on 15 december 2021. Nice store. Related to Bierparadijs in Meer, Belgium. Pretty large collection of Belgian beers. Friendly and helpfull staff. Should enlarge with beers from more countries. (15-12-2021).

Small brewery at Landgoed de Bonte Belevenis. Not too much to do. Could not visit the brewery due to another group. Didn't wanna wait. Had a drink in the inner garden. Friendly and helpfull staff. Bought some bottles in the shop. (2-9-2020).

Short visit on my way back home from Brugge. Fairly big, very crowded, mainly with families. More eating than drinking area. Bought some beers in the shop. (24-6-2017).

Visited the place during the weekend of the "Nacht van de Grote Dorst" in 2018. Packed on a sunny day. Large, to commercial in my opinion. Some shopping done, quite expensive. No time for a drink. Did that at home. Brews are very good. (28-4-2018).
