What a splendid boozer. I went in on quiz night so it was quite busy but I ordered some food and a beer and found a seat outside in the very pleasant beer garden. There were six hand pumps but only four in use, two ales from Roman Way Brewery and two ciders. The clientele were a mixed bunch but all very friendly and the quiz questions were way out of my field of knowledge, many about cult films, conspiracy theories and obscure recent news items.
