One of the 300 Beers To Try Before You Die and a splendid beer it is. Found a 750ml bottle in the supermarket near my hotel on my last day of a trip to Brittany. Sat on the balcony outside my room and savoured it slowly.

250ml draught in Les Petits papier, Rennes. Very pleasant IPA at the end of a long lunchtime session in a very hot Rennes.

Bottle from beer shop in Quimper, drank in hotel room in Rennes. Good. Says La Doree on bottle, not Bio but is 7.7%.

Bottle in a bar in Place Ste-Anne, Rennes. Served a tad too cold but if allowed to warm up the flavours came through. Good to have a dark beer after a week of blondes, lagers and ambers.
