A pale golden pour with some sizable bubbles. Aroma is apple core, vinyl, sand, lettuce. Fizzy, somewhat dry, sticky and abrupt. Easy to drink at best.

1 pint can at La Abadía, Madrid. A dark orange pour with an off-white, thick head. Aroma is earth, bitter orange, pine needle. Dry, crisp, full-bodied. Very bitter, long-lasting finish.

33 cl can from Ahorramás. A clear, pale golden pour with a sticky, foamy, web-lacing head. Aroma is very mild: honey, eucalyptus, earth, iron, caramel. Dry, slick, crisp and medium-bodied. Bitter, medium-lasting finish.

33 cl bottle at La Abadía. A glossy jet black pour with a foamy tan head. Aroma is leather, ink, cocoa, coffee, rotten grapes. Medium-bodied, slightly fizzy, crisp and rather bitter. Okay.

A clean, copper-colored pour with a thinly lacing, grayish-white, short-lived head. Aroma is porridge, cookies, honey, and all things malty. Boozy, quite full bodied, but lacking balance. Boozy finish, full of esters. On the bad side.
