From tap at Tap Burger & Beer, Budapest, 20.09.25. Served with nitro. Clear golden. Dense and persistent off-white head and lacing. Aroma and taste of British chocolate orange biscuits and grains.

Visited 20.09.25. By the stairs ascending on the Western side of Buda Hill. Indoor and outdoor seating. They serve coffee, cakes, sandwiches, soup, dessert, cocktails, wine and so on. And they also have an unspecified draft lager from Hungarian Hübris and three cans from the same brewery. Not really a beer destination, which is the reason for my low score. Friendly, English speaking service. Menu by QR code only is pulling down the overall impression.

Visited on a late Friday evening 19.09.25. Take the tram or metro M2 to Széll Kálmán tér to get there. And then one must enter the Mammut shopping centre, even at late evening, and take the lifts or escalators to the top floor. Its on a large rooftop terrace. It seemed to be a party place for the twenty-somethings on this Friday evening, with a DJ and dancing. The majority of the punters were drinking Jägermeisters, longdrinks and cocktail instead of beer. This might be a nicer place during daytime – and perhaps a welcome escape if you’re in the company of someone who prefer spending their sparetime at shopping at shopping centres. They also do burgers. Toilet are on the third floor. Turn right after descending by the escalators.

From tap at TETŐ by Mad Scientist, Budapest, 19.09.25. Ebony. Dense and fairly persistent brown head and lacing. Fine and well-balanced aroma and taste of grapefruit, pine, dark chocolate and espresso. Good!
