Opaque deep brown to black with a surprisingly tall tan head of perfect retention. Roast & toast, esters, dried fruits, iodine, walnut, vanilla, oak tannins, butter cookies, chocolate, whisky, some hop. Medium dry. Sufficient hop bitterness. Very good.
