On tap at The bear, Paddington, London. Pours a clear straw colour with a small off-white head. Aroma of minerals, spicy hops, grass, lime and white bread. Flavour of pale malt, sweet corn, grass and spicy hops. Has a slick mouth feel, light body and soft bitterness. Decent and relatively tasteful.

Can at home. Pours a clear straw colour with an off-white head. Aroma of green apples, sweet corn and white bread. Some peaches. Flavour of grass, minerals, sweet corn and white bread. Has a slick mouth feel, light body and a soft bitterness. Fair enough for a pale lager.

Pours a hazy dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma of fudge, bread, nuts and some leather. Flavour of leather, roasted malt, nuts and some caramel. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and a soft bitterness. Sweet and malty. Well balanced.

Bottle at home. As Christmas Cheesecake. Pours a deep dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma of milk chocolate, leather, tobacco and rye bread. Flavour of leather, cocoa, tobacco, rye bread and roasted malt. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and a soft bitterness. Flavourful and with lots of chocolate.

On tap at Oslo mikrobryggeri. Pours a deep reddish brown colour with a small beige head. Aroma of coffee, milk chocolate, roasted malt and rye bread. Flavour of coffee, dark chocolate, rye bread and ash. Soft and slick mouth feel, medium body and a soft bitterness. Roasted and nice.

Two year old bottle. Pours a cloudy deep red brown colour with a beige head. Aroma of rye bread, nuts, leather and cocoa. Flavour of ash, leather, rye bread and roasted malt. Has a slick and silky mouth feel, medium to full body and a soft bitterness. Roasted and nice. Well balanced.

On tap Ølhallen. Pours a clear straw colour with a small off-white head. Aroma of blood orange and lemonade. Flavour of blood orange, bubble gum and grass and hay in the background. Has a light and watery mouth feel light body and no bitterness. It's all about blood orange. Light and not very interesting.

A proper beer pub with lots of taps from Norwegian breweries.Different sizes available. Fairly large pub with lots of seating arrangements. Good capacity during visit midweek. Football sing-a-long music on.
