pitch dark, brown head
aroma of roasted malts, whiskey, bourbon, sweet smelling dry wood, very faint salt caramel, delicate well rounded imp stoutish roasted malty borbon BA aroma, quite blended, not too crazy even after 24 months of barelling - perhaps bc of the high abv. btw. abv not noticable in the aroma.
really nice non-pastry bourbon roasted malty aroma, a bit bitter wood and bitter caramel though, but too faint to be a nuisance, and the overall flavor is straight on fantastic. the bitter wood/burnt plastic/bitter caramel fant note is what moved it from 9 to 8.5
good soft mouthfeel, aftertaste is roasted malty with a few bitter notes
imho this one is at bourbon county stout level, even feels less boozy than some of those.

As blend no 50 17/18 75cl bottle from kihoskh.
earthy leather blanket slightly swet fruity/flowery/malty notes, wild but not crazy wild aroma, great lambic aroma, comes off as mature, settles, aged, yet fresh and sour and tart. flavor is quite sour and tart, very balanced, faint leather and faint wood, citrussy notes, faint maybe hay like notes, barnyard.
has aged very well, i bet it tasted abou the same when it was first sold. perhaps it's more rounded now. none of the bad signs of aging at all. ( tasted may 2026) if i shoud find anything remotely dissapointing it is that it comes off as very slightly watery, but this is not a problem and i was really searching for something to complaint about, it's not something you notice wo looking. great bottle. Was crazy expensive, but value for money nevertheless. It tastes like "well, this is easy to make" truth is it's crazy well balanced and blended.

Golden, smooth light golden/light orange head
nice "wet" hoppy aroma with notes of grapefruit and pine as well as flowers. not dry, more wet and homebrew'ish. but pretty good, smells like craftmanship with no corners cut.
soft palate and mouthfeel, flowery hoppy notes, malty and hoppy , herbal hoppy bitterness towards the end, almost pils like tasteless hoppy bitterness, so not like an american IPA, more like an english - still, flowers and hoppy notes in the flavor itself is more american than european.
an easy drinking ipa, smooth and soft - not crisp and dry as some us ipas often are, i think i prefer the dry ones when i order an IPA but this is just different - not worse or better.. reminds me of english pubs in rainy weather, lol.

as "Perlenbacher ufiltreret lager" same graphics abv 4.9, brewed in Germany acc. to can
hazy yellow, huge light yellow head
dry dusty, sawdusty, cheap-hoppy aroma, but also full bodied and some hay straw and malts so not a watery metallic industrial aroma at all. Aroma on par with other industrial unfiltered lagers, probably even a tiny bit better.
mouthfeel is kinda soft but flavor is def. watery , slightly sort of wheaty, good bready dryish malty bitterness, good herbal pils type hops to round off the bitterness in a serious way. pretty solid unfiltered lager flavor overall, good body, not overly quenching, but chewwy and with some flavor. the watery felling is probably mainly due to a seriously low carbonation.

dark orange to dark goden, light orange to golden to begie head. looks quite menacing, looks like a heavy IPA.
resiny hoppy and citrus fruity aroma, lemony notes, quite strong aroma, a bit unbalanced though with a lot of resiny notes and some weirdish flowery/citrussy notes.
easy drinking flavor with peaches, nutty dry malts, buttery oily feel, hops bitterness towards the end. grapefruit and pine. sort of bit of stale hops feel to it, or industrial feel to it. decent and potent as a craft beer, way good as a supermarket beer. The intensity suggests drink this somewhat cold.

From danish lidl "Perlenbacher Radler Grapefrugt"
hazy orange/pink with a white head.
Aroma of oranges and grapefruit, sweet, resembles artificial grapefruit soda water. mild malty note
quite refreshing flavor of grapefruit and oranges. hint of beer too, but faint. alc. bitterness is a bit metallic and in the way. Not the best radler out there. quite artificial.

pours oily pitch black with almost no head, small fringe ring of brown head
aroma is like a good chocolate cake, vanilla beans, 60% chocolate, tonka beans (actually pecan nuts, but i am not sure how their aroma is, nearest i know is tonka beans), white cake cream. roasted malts, faint barrel aged note, faint woody note but the pastry notes are far stronger.
flavor is sweet slightly bready, roasted malts, sweet chocolate way luxury dessert flavor, toblerone. very very sweet but somehow agreeable as the flavor is pretty darn good. not a session beer, super heavy mouthfeel and so sweet you can only manage a few sips and then a long pause. tastes like you could go from olympic athlete to diabetes 2 in about 37cl.
a bit too much on the sweetness, but i must admit one of the very best very sweet stouts i've tasted.
