flowery hoppy notes, citrussy hoppy notes, crisp dry malty notes in the aroma
cloudy yellow with a white head
near perfect balance between crisp malts and herbal/grassy hops with a bit if flowers and citrus - but mainly herbal hop and a bit of hay.. but so well balanced, and very refreshing and very dry. a malty thirst quencher with a bit of hops on top. nailed the session ipa style here - not normal that a rather mild and somewhat watery ipa really really works. This is so easy drinking you could accidentially get pretty drunk if you had a large enough stash on a hot summer day.

bbf 30.12.2033 bought at the same time as BW 2026 and WW 2026
pours very very VERY dark brown, settles black with a brown head that fizzes away in a minute as BA heads often do.Aroma is a lot of roasted malts, some coffee, strong wood and charred wood notes, alcohol note that mixes in with a dried dark fruity note. borderline phenolic, but not entirely there. super solid BA imp stout aroma but a bit too boozy, alc. a bit too easily detectable.
flavor is roasted malts, coffee, brown sugar, licorice, chocolate, charred wood.aftertaste is lots of roasted malts, some coffee bitterness too, bit of licorice, aftertaste lasts a long time.
even though they used lactose and dextrose - the flavor is mainly just plain super heavt imp stout. the roasted malts and the wood drive the flavor. the other stuff distracts a bit, but the base beer can take it. Tasty sipper.

initially a solid deep hoppy and deep malty aroma, sold conventional US hops dominate and they're full bodied and juicy. the malts are solid and into barley wine territory too both are balanced yielding a very intense aroma like what you might find in an imperial red ale - actually this one is 8% so that is more or less into the imperial category. aroma could also be from a well balanced hoppy barleywine. great stuff. Finer notes of dried dark fruits and flowers but nearly all aroma is driven by malty and hoppy notes.
flavor is along the lines of imperial hoppy brown ale, hoppy barleywine - a very solid malty base that is sweet nutty, rounded by very aromatic us hops, the hops flavor though is a lot less intensive than the aroma so malts win hands down here, having hops only accentuate the experience. finer fruity notes into the end but mostly just malts. alc. is well hidden but can be felt in a good way as making the body more solid. also faint notes of wood or barrelling or perhaps wood chips soaked in booze used. texture is not at all watery. Totally a real treat if you feel like barley wine or imperial brown ale. balanced , tasty, complex, great sipper.

pours extremely dark brown, settles black with a brown smooth head that fizzles away after a minute , like BA heads often do
aroma is lots of roasted malts and a lot of notes from the various barrels, the rioja clearly there as a red wine or port wine like note, a lot of wood and charred wood. a pretty complex aroma with many notes so subtle that they are hard to identify. also very mellow and blended and soft. alc sting is there, but not so much its an issue. I found this in a supermarket. this one is way, way , way above supermarket quality. also chocolate, borubon BA notes. i could go on forever. pretty darn okay aroma.
flavor is salt licorice, bourbon, wood, roasted malts - lots of it, ends coffe and roasted malts, also dark chocolate, wood and charred wood, the roija from the aroma is practically gone, but there is a suber subtle dried dark fruty note in there somewhere. seriously complex and layered. these flavors were not from added junk, they were provided by brewing and storing. world class BA imp. stout. compares to the ones that cost 3x or 4x as much. tastes like the alc% was higher, but alc. is well hidden. it's massive.

Clear yellow with a huge head, fizzy. looks like a hof or tuborg in the glass
aroma is slightly flowery and malty and some alc. aroma too is a lot like a hof or a tuborg. A bit more straw and hay in the aroma than macro danish pilsener, but very close, at least in the aroma.
flavor is slightly sweet malts, euro pils hop bitterness, quite amazingly close to hof or tuborg. appears clean and a lot more preciesely brewed than the few other kinds of bajeour i have tried. They managed to reduce the ABV very well. it's almost like it's not even the same brewery between this and the 5.1% version and the 0.5% version. so different.
overall a bi thin, but clearly drinkable as a lower abv alternative to hof or tuborg.

hazy to cloudy orange, fluffy white head
aroma is ceraral, flowers, hay and grass. earthy
flavor is slightly bitter, cereral and a herbal bitterness. taste is quite pleasing as it is bitter enough to go for a sort of a pils, although the flavor is somewhat messy with quite a lot of cereral and grains. strange brew. okay nonalc after all.
