herbal hops, pine hops, grapefruit hops. this hoppy burnt hoppy sort of note.mouldy grapefruity notes.
pretty nice flavor initially but it goes quite mouldy citrus fruity bittersweet and that lingers. blended grapefruit where you forgot to remove the skin before blending it. I love very hoppy beers but this one seem somehow off balance.

pitch black, dark brown small smooth head.
strong aroma consisting of peanuts and cocoa, brown soft dark chocolate cake. aroma has tons and tons of peanut and dark chocolate with a seemingly robust roasted malty base although the roasted malty notes can almost only be sensed as an echo in the roar of peanuts and dark chocolate.
reminds me of bruery chocolate rain. it's that intense.
flavor is dark chocolate, roasted malts, peanuts, very faint vanilla / cake frosting. end is roasted malty and chocolate.

dark dark brown to pitch black, dark brown fizzy head that soon disappears.
aroma dominated by dark chocolate , cacao and booze. also brown-cake cake spices, coconut. Flavor is liquid brown-cakes with chocolate and coconut. alc is felt but not really tasted, solid full bodied flavor - very pastry - the roasted malts does not appear thin or watery but they also don't taste much in the battery af cake notes. faint sweet vanilla cake frosting note.
good bitterness towards the end, that seems to be roasted malty and coffee driven.

It really suits the beer well that they did not go light on the malts. somewhat less roasted malts and it would have been nearly undrinkable. at this balance level it's quite a treat (dessert sipper)

hazy yellow, smooth yellow head.
aroma of peaches, citrus fruits, bit of grapefruit, sweet malts. good solid IPA aroma.
easy drinking IPA flavor with a good balance between malty sweet and grapefruity/piny bitter and exotic fruity juicy.
There might be a tiny bit too much bittersweet in here, but it's a tiny thing. Overall a super tasty IPA that tastes like a lot more ABV than the 6.6 it has.

pours very very dark brown with nearly no head, like it was a heavy BA stout.
Aroma is nice and clean, simplistic, bit mild. roasted malts and booze.
flavor is very well balanced roasted malty with coffee notes, licorice notes, dark chocolate notes, dark toffee notes. good sipper. not overly sweet. good balance.

mild roasted malty aroma, finer notes of vanilla, dark chocolate. very rounded and balanced aroma.
flavor is super nice with a good roasted malty base as well as tons of pastry stoutish notes, pastry, cake frosting, chocolate, pancakes with syrup. The great thing about it is that it is not dark caramelly bitter and all the adjuncts are balanced by a very solid roasted malty base.

aroma is with a good rounded malty base and a lot of fruity hops, with no off flavors at all. Very pleasing aroma. Could perhaps be a little bit stronger, but what there is, is top of the shelf very good.
flavor is quite bitter hoppy with oranges and peaches flavors, mouthfeel is extremely dry, but palate is soft. pretty good flavor, a tiny bit too exotic fruity for my preferences, and the bitterness is a tiny bit too bittersweet (i prefer pine and grapefruit bitterness) but nevertheless a very balanced , well rounded and tasty strong IPA. It carries it's 8% strength well.

pours black with a light brown fizzy head that soon disappears.
most dominant in the aroma is honey, soon followed by cake spices and chocolate, aroma is quite a bit like christmas pudding (after booze has been added) . dried dark fruits. faint bitter caramel. i can't find any roasted malts which is a bit of a concern, but probably mostly bc i expected imperial stout.

flavor is closer to cristmas pudding than anything else. burnt raisins, dark grains, booze, roasted malts, coffee, vanilla, chocolate, dark caramel.
