I’m another RateBeer refugee. Grew up in Metro Detroit area, now in Lansing Michigan. Not counting some sips of my dad’s Stroh’s when I fetched him a beer, I’ve been a regular beer drinker since 1973. I never latched onto a brand, always searching for something better. Craft beer found me about 2010. I started out wanting to try every beer offered in my regular beer store. I quickly realized that was not realistic, so I changed my goal to a beer from each of the 82 Michigan breweries. I never hit that rapidly moving goal (more than 400 today). Now I just enjoy drinking good beer and regularly adding ticks to my life-list.
