Backlog November 2009. Almost clear reddish golden body under a small off-white head. Aroma is acidic with oak, barnyard and funk. Taste has a nice and well made combination of malt, acidic berries, oak, caramel and funk with an alcoholic touch. Medium body with a pleasant, long lasting aftertaste. Well made and balanced.

Backlog November 2009. Unclear orange body under a dense off-white head. Aroma is unusually but I find it pleasant. Some kind of spicy with berries and cellar notes. The cellar notes become more obvious in taste, sweet malt, acidic berries, herbs, spices and yeast. Medium body with same aftertaste. Strange but interesting and nice after a few sips.

Backlog November 2009. Unclear golden body under a dense white head. Nice, fruity aroma with yeast and esters. Taste is refreshing fruity with pale malt, spices, white sugar sweetness, some citric fruits and cellar notes. Medium body with a nice aftertaste. A nice and well made version of a bier de garde.

Backlog November 2009. Golden body under a small white head. Mild malty aroma with a faint hint of peppery saison. Light in taste with mild malt, herbs and moderate bitterness. Medium body with short aftertaste.

Backlog November 2009. Unclear pale golden body under a big, creamy white head. Light volatile floral aroma. Taste is light, refreshing, slightly acidic with some malt and a rather dry finish. Has more value as an experiment than actually creating a nice beer.
Backlog. Bottle from a supermarket in Egypt many years ago as far as I can remember. Made a rating that was not possible to register at Ratbeer then, but the text was pretty simple to remember. Looks like an ordinary pilsner, but aroma and taste are much like a regular soft drink with peach flavour. Feels to artificial and the lemon version tastes a lot better.

Backlog November 2009. Pale golden body under a white head that quickly fades to nothing. Unusually and strange aroma, my minds go to visiting a zoo and the smell of rotten fruits, monkey pee, hay and mud. Taste has some of the same feeling but not this strong. Not much reminds me of a beer here. Hard to finish my small sample.

Can @ home. Unclear, almost hazy golden body under a big, foamy white head that fades quite fast. Aroma of some kind of ripe fruit, berry and minerals. There is also a hint of something close to funky, but not quite there. Taste has some slightly sweet malt and citric fruit at the first sip, but then the sweetness seems to disappear and it becomes rather acidic. Citric fruit, oranges, apricot, acidic grapefruit and sour berries with a touch of minerals. Medium body with a tart, acidic aftertaste. Unusually, refreshing and quite interesting.

Backlog February 2009. Unclear yellow golden body under a fading white head. Aroma is quite much honey with a floral touch. Taste is sweet and bitter with honey and flowers. I’s a bit strange as it starts sweet and feels dry at the end. Interesting take on the sasion but not a big fan.
