A brewpub which has an attractive setting on a canal, accessible through a small street. It remains not overwhelmed with tourists. A selection of a number of kegged beers, at least one I hadn't had before. Good service.

I was pretty disappointed with our visit on a pretty quiet Wednesday early evening. I had arranged to meet my wife at the original Bierrasserie Cambrinus for some beers followed by food, we weren't eating straight away, and with her arriving slightly ahead of me they sent her down the street to here to this more modern venue. It does have 20 kegs but no beer menu with bottles. Somewhat surprisingly there was only 1 of the 20 kegs that was of interest to me and we ended up eating straight away. The food & service was ok.

A confectionery store which I visited for a particular beer but had a number of different bottled beers I hadn't come across before. Great service with the checkout lad packing & taping all the bottles securely.

330ml bottle from DB Supermarket in Beernem. Pours a cloudy golden with a white head. Medium carbonation. Aromas & tastes of flora, spice & hops. Moderate body. Fairly sharp bitter finish.

Good location in the centre of town, just across from the Fat Head Brewery this is a long thin taproom, a great place to try some of their beers. Choice of several casks, some from guests plus a number of their own keg options. A fridge full of cans that I'd not come across before was very tempting, but I was going to the football so relented.
