Pale amber. Quite fruity, marmalade, membrillo, that processed fruit thing. On the palate it’s bitter, with big up front citrus, pear, gooseberry. Complex as hell, and the amount of ekg in this…damn.

Dark brown. Thin head. Definitely on the sweeter side. Still some roast and nuttiness. Good body for the style. Well-balanced.

Brown colour. It does have some of the classic black and tan character - nice roastiness, moderate bitterness, and some slightly fruity, livelier pale ale notes. For me, this is an effective example.

Golden, nice head, looks tasty. Piney aroma and a little but orangey, clean pale malt. Soft blueberry hop note, along with that punchy centennial bitterness. Thank goodness this is mostly centennial. Balanced, quality IPA.

Thanks to Sergiy for spotting this one for me! Hazy mid-amber sort of colour, with medium head. Typical gueuze. Lots of leather, super dry, oaky, wheaty, lemony, and each of these is pretty powerful as well. Assertive, leaning towards tartness, great bugs. Nice, solid gueuze.

Hazy, lively amber colour. Not much head. Toasty is the first thing on the nose, then it gets more to a generic caramel. The malts are better on the palate, though, the caramel is richer, fuller, then a bit of dryness in the finish.

Dark brown, medium head. Thinnish body, a bit of cocoa, chocolate accents. Moderate bitterness. I like the malt complexity, but the body and rather weak finish don't appeal to me.
