[33cl can on a cruise ship on the Med, can’t believe that I haven’t rated this before.] A straw coloured pour with a loose white head; sweet grainy aroma; sweet grainy taste with a grassy bitterness lifted by a little citrus.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A cola brown coloured pour with a billowing cream coloured head; toasted grain aroma with some pine; then a deeply roasted grain taste with a charred bitterness. Rather good.

[Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell.] A mahogany coloured pour with a cream coloured rim; toasted malt aroma; silky in the mouth with a rich toasted malt taste, but rather thin; then a dry earthy finish with a nutty aftertaste.

[Cask at The Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell.] A dull copper coloured pour with a white rim; sweet toasted malt aroma; quite sweet and syrupy in the mouth with some red fruits and malts; then a dry bready finish with a tart berry bitterness and bramble aftertaste. Very enjoyable.
