Can (4/09/25) from the brewery. Opaque, milky orange juice, decent head with tons of sparkle, fair retention and rings of lacing. Aroma is initial burst of white grape, florals, spice followed by massively strong arm pit/musky/cooking herb.Taste follows aroma with white grape, florals and background malts transiently coming up for air through a sea of massive herb. Smooth, frothy texture, medium bodied, soft carbonation and dry, yeasty finish. Boy, if the old white-grapey Nelson was made as strong as the herbal Nelson, there would be lot of near-perfect beers out there! Like it but don't love it.

Can (4/9/25) from trade with Chalumeaux--thanks, TJ! Opaque orange juice, light sparkle, head with fair retention and nice web of lacing. Aroma is stone/orchard fruit, hint of apple cider. Taste is stronger version of stone/orchard fruits. Smooth texture, fairly thin body for style, juicy but indeterminate flavor, late bread and dry, yeasty, mildly bitter finish.

Can shared by Matt from BBall league. Opaque, milky yellow with light sparkle, thick head with excellent retention and light lacing. Aroma is citrus, tropical fruit and bread. Taste is strong guava, papaya, bread and cracker. Smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation and malty over fruity finish with mild lingering bitterness. Pretty nice all around.

Can (4/8/25) from the brewery. Opaque orange juice with nice sparkle, decent head with excellent retention and tons of lacing. Aroma is strong citrus over grape and later, milder herb. Taste is strong citrus, mild herb and vinous quality, late cracker, bitter. Frothy texture, average carbonation, fairly crisp, exceptionally dry finish with lingering bitterness and an almost yeasty film left on the teeth. Well made but always a bit wary of this many hops--too many things fighting for attention and cancelling out each other's identifiable features. Noteworthy for dryness, frothiness of texture and bitterness. OK for me.

Can (4/21/25) from trade with ClarkVV--thanks, Clark! Opaque dark brown with light sparkle, large head with good retention and nice lacing. Aroma is smoky, woody (campfire) roasted malt, very late hint of caramel. Taste follows aroma. Smooth, frothy, creamy texture, soft carbonation, finish as taste. Geez, this is like a Rauchbier.
